J. BRYAN SHEALY
Bryan was born in – Rock Hill, SC but grew up in Charlotte. NC. He moved to Rome in 1970.
He attended West Rome High School and received a B.S. from Berry College with a double major in Accounting & Economics. He also did graduate work at UGA.
He has been involved in the community in the following areas:
-Floyd County Board of Education 16 years Chairman 2007-2008
-Rome Parks and Recreation Authority 12 years Chairman 1997-1999
– Rome –Floyd County Library 6 years Chairman 2005-2007
– Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce

He is married to the former Kathy Brewer of Rome and they have two children, Melissa Shell of Rome and a son, Chris Shealy also of Rome. . They have 3 grandchildren- Madalyn, Jaxson and Layla.
